9V-SPL was the sister ship to 9V-SPK, both were painted in the amazing Tropical scheme and unfortunately, SPK was completely destroyed when it took off from wrong runway in Taiwan killing everyone on board. SPL is shown here in 1994 at JFK after having been painted back to the regular Singapore scheme
